The 2015 Open Government Partnership Global Summit will be held in
Mexico City on October 27, 28 and 29. Around 1,500 participants from
government, civil society organizations, multilateral organizations,
media, and the private sector are expected to attend. This will provide
an excellent opportunity for leaders from OGPâÂÂs 65 participating
countries and beyond to exchange ideas on how they are making their
government more transparent, accountable, and responsive to citizens. It
will also be an opportunity for experts representing different fields,
sectors, and regions from around the world to talk about goals,
challenges, experiences, and best practices in the implementation of
open government commitments.
In keeping with the OGPâÂÂs spirit of cooperation and co-creation, and
our belief that âÂÂgood ideas comes from everywhereâÂÂ, the agenda for
the Global Summit will be based on an open call for proposals from
participants. We are inviting all interested parties to submit a
description of the session they would like to lead during the Summit.
*The call for proposals closes on August 14.*
The Organizing Committee will be evaluating the proposals on a rolling
basis, therefore we suggest you send your proposals as soon as possible.
Please review the complete selection criteriaà here
<http://tinyurl.com/OGPCriteria>. Please bear in mind that proposals
including innovative and dynamic methods of encouraging participation
and exchange will have a greater chance of being included in the summit
agenda. You can read more about it here

2015 Global Summit. If you have not pre-registered yet, please do so
